Mission Statement and Key Objectives
Advise the Chief Government Geologists' Committee (CGGC) on geoscience information management and assist their efforts in promoting a national view of geoscience.
- Implement the geoscience information management requirements of the CGGC
- Propose initiatives to improve geoscience information management and access
- Liaise with other jurisdictions, research organisations and industry
- Promote the development and use of standards and guidelines for geoscience information
- Report on activities and make recommendations to CGGC
